Stagiates to Volos Trail is a 2.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Stagiátes, Thessaly, Greece that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
The trail starts from the Stagiates central square and heads downwards to the outskirts of the city of Volos. It offers a good chance for family and beginners to spend some time away from the everyday life. You can have a nice view of the city of Volos as you walk along the trail. There are two little churches by the trail. The church of Agios Serafim is close to the village and the church of Agios Panteleimon is midway, which is an important viewpoint.
