Awe-inspiring hike through the second largest gorge in the world, starting and ending at 2 of the many lovely, quaint Zagori villages. Quite different from your usual ascent based hikes, as you start by descending into the gorge and literally hiking through it. Varied terrain (rock, grass, river bank and snow) makes for an interesting experience.

Day 1 Vitsa - Kipoi - Vradeto (6 hours)
Day 2 Vradeto- Beloi Viewpoint- Tespelovo (4 hours)
Day 3 Tsepelovo - Astraka mountain hut ( 7 hours)
Day 4 Ascent of Gamilla I from hut (total 5 hours)
Day 5 Astraka hut- Dragon lake- Astraka hut - Mikro Papigo ( 5 hours)
Day 6 Mikro Paigo- Vikos Gorge -Monodendri (6 hours)
A beautiful trek which brings you every day through different scenery.
