This route lives up to its name. Expect a hellish climb and heavenly views along the entire tour. The nearly 15-kilometer-long route is a premium hiking trail and leads through a former Roman quarry, the Devil's Stone, which gave it its name. The trail marker is a sign with a red devil's head, which can be found again and again along the route. This route promises a delightful mix of romantic river valleys, steep climbs and breathtaking views over the Palatinate mountains.

I have already run a nice tour

Lots on inclines and declines, wear good shoes. Bugs weren’t that big of a deal. Some areas of the trail were a little overgrown. Just follow the diablo looking fellow and you’re on the right track. Definitely a challenging trail!
