You will start the youth trail "Auf dem Moselsteig" at Carlfritz-Nicolay-Platz at the Moselbrücke in Cochem (www.cochem.de). Until Klotten we follow now the marking of the Moselsteig. First you will reach the valley station of the chairlift (www.cochemer-sesselbahn.de). Here you can choose the ascent to the Pinnerberg or continue the hike along a steep path with stairs. At the Pinnerkreuz with a marvelous view of Cochem we can take a breather before continuing on to our next highlight, the leisure and wildlife park Klotten (www.klotti.de). A large number of driving and fun attractions also allows the big time to be a child again. In the adjacent wildlife park, in addition to native species, exotic species of birds can be observed. Now the Moselsteig dips into the forest and runs along the slope along a natural path to the rest area Schwedenkreuz, where you can consume our carried in the backpack provisions. As the next Moselle town you reach Klotten. (From the train station there is the possibility to drive back to Cochem.) On the banks of the Moselle is the ferry Klotten (www.mosel.de under shipping: Fährzeiten: Easter-end of October) and set with her over. Now it is only a few meters along the banks of the Moselle to the leisure and adventure pool (www.moselbad.de). There is next to the swimmer pool, the slides and the wave pool, also a sauna and spa services. Right next to the outdoor pool, you can compete with your friends over a game of mini golf. After this exhausting stop, we walk back to the starting point at the Moselle Bridge. Tip: The youth hostel Cochem is available for overnight stays and further explorations. In Cochem can also be hiked the second youth trail "On the Calmonter via ferrata".
