The Liserpfad is part of the longer 'Erft-Lieser-Mosel-Weg'. It is considered the most beautiful part of the longer trail. This trail is usually divided into two sections or days. It follows the Lieser Creek which later flows into the Moselle River. The marker of the trail is a black triangle. This stage is a bit hard than Stage 1 but offers a bit more scenery on its path. You are able to catch views of Oberburg and Niederburg (upper and lower castle) near Manderscheid.
