A hike through the Monschau countryside. This route offers the valley along a creek, the reservoirs of the Perlenbachtalsperre, heights with wide views into the countryside, forest passages, field or meadow paths, a break at a refuge in the middle of the forest. At the end it is still worth a walk through farms with its well-preserved and restored half-timbered houses, some thatched roof covered surrounded by meters high windbreak hedges. Start of the hike is in courtyards at the National Park Gate.
