Großhau-Schmidt is a 11.6 kilometer lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near Hürtgenwald, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany that features a great forest setting and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and trail running and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

This main hiking trail (HWW) from Langerwehe to Gemünd leads through many woods along numerous streams and several dams along. It connects the lignite-mining area Inden (north of the railway line Aachen - Cologne) through the Hürtgenwald leading with the Eifel National Park.
