Hike to Ginsterblüte. Those who would like to experience the broom bloom (most beautiful in May and June) have chosen the ideal tour, because there is hardly any other tour that is so intensively determined by the broom bloom as this hike in the Eifel National Park. We start our hike from the parking lot in Erkensruhr, Hirschrott (see how to get there). We then walk out of the valley and climb up into open terrain and then descend again to Hirschrott. Now it goes steadily but gently uphill and always along Ginsterbüchen to the heights of the Dreiborn plateau. From here we have breathtaking views. The descent is via the "creation path" back to the valley of Erkensruhr and the parking lot. Also outside the Ginsterblüte the hike is attractive and recommendable.
