The start of this route is in Hürtgen at the village center. Follow trail number 85 across fields and then downhill in the direction of Brandenberg. Continue to Lukasmühle. Now, the trail will lead back towards Hürtgenwald, past the Raffelsberg and back to the starting point. On the way, you will encounter many wonderful views of the Eifel and beautiful valleys.

Nice route. wide passable paths / roads. the height differences are gradual and easy to bridge. 50% in the forest. You gotta love that. In sunny weather that's nice. The rest has many beautiful views. The valley with a stream and green meadows is also beautiful.
