Start directly at the Olef and follow this up to the mouth of the Höddelbach. The nature reserve Höddelbachtal takes you up to Herhahn. Over the heights it goes to the night mountain. Here the tour can be shortened directly to the Kuckucksley. Otherwise, the path takes you to the picturesque Braubachtal; Follow this road down to Gemünd. From here you follow the Eifelsteig first through the town center and then on paths and paths to the viewpoint Kuckucksley. A rest house invites you to linger - with a fantastic view over the Oleftal. At the "Pauluskopp" change to the Rur-Olef-Route and follow this over the Lützenberg back to Schleiden.You can also start this tour in Gemünd at the Marienplatz.
