Neuhausen is known for restaurants, eclectic shops, parks and even a castle! Neuhausen is a neighborhood in the northwestern part of Munich. It's a desirable place to live for locals and of interest to visitors for its 19th century architecture and hodgepodge of cafes, restaurants and specialty shops, parks and a castle. Schloss (Palace) Nymphenburg is Germany's largest Baroque Palace and the palace grounds are extensive. You can extend your tour by visiting the nearby Botanical Gardens. Olympia park (where the 1972 Olympics were held) is also located in Neuhausen but not on this tour due to time restrictions.
