Small Feierabendrunde: Starting point is the Berggasthof Hocheck. Start past the animal enclosure and head uphill, parallel to the ski slope. Follow the Fostweg straight ahead. After about 2-3 km the forest leads into a beautiful single trail. There are 2-3 tricky root passages. At the end of the singletrack you reach Fostweg, which you follow until the next intersection. Then take a left, uphill towards Wildgrub/Rechenau. Now it is necessary to climb some altitude in the forest. Once your climb is done you glide over beautiful alpine meadows towards Wildgrub/Rechenau. Take your time and notice a nice little chapel on the right hand side at the exit of Wildgrub. The path will then lead to Rechnenau. Turn left there and follow the road to a sharp right turn (see waypoint: branch Wallerhof). From here it goes on single trails in the direction of Gasthof Wallerhof and then toward Ramsauer Hof. At Ramsauer Hof keep left and ride up into the forest. Follows a decent climb, first on forest roads and the last piece on single trails, to Berggasthof Hocheck. Short but very nice tour.
