This route starts in the town of Königssee with a boat ride to the beautiful St. Bartholomew's church. After visiting the historic church, continue north along the lake's edge to Eiswinkel. Continue onto the Rinnkendlsteig, which leads to one of the best viewpoints of the Koönigssee, Archenkanzel. After taking in spectacular views of the area, continue towards Kühroint, where you will turn left and head uphill to the Watzmannhaus. This is arguably the most difficult route to the Watzmannhaus.
