This route is a classic among the Via Ferrata and is one of the most beautiful ridge walks in the Alps. Begin by taking the cable car from Karwendelbahn Talstation. Good weather and an early start are required on this route. A helmet and appropriate gear is necessary for this route. The Brunnsteinhütte is a welcome resting point after a long and exhausting descent over countless turns. Follow the route back down to the bottom of the cable car where you began the trip.
