Directly at the parking lot of Alexanderschanze the Westweg disappears on a narrow path in the thicket. At the Wolfursprung a forest road is reached again. Turn right to get to the B 28, but turn left before the road and follow another forest road always along the upper edge of the deep Renchtal. At the farmhouse head offers a particularly beautiful view of Bad Griesbach and the Black Forest mountains around the Mooskopf. With good thermals paragliders and hang gliders like to start here and thus offer an additional show. Just a few steps later, the path crossing Graseck is reached. The Westweg remains at the ridge and passes the Hildahütte past a narrow forest road through a wonderfully quiet and pristine landscape to Lettstädter height. Ironically, this beautiful path section also offers a variant with almost alpine way character on a narrow cliff over the Teufelskanzel. Accordingly, it is difficult to decide for or return to the original route. Below the broad plateau between Lettstädter height (966 m) and lake view (960 m) lies the magnificent glass forest lake hidden in his Kar. (Tip: despite a full 200 meters loss of altitude he should be simply hiked!) On the descent to the deep cut Freiersbergsattel leads a ten-minute Detour to the Klagstein, which towers high above the almost untouched Wildschapacher Tal over the treetops. A wonderful viewing and resting place! The Great Dog's Head is bypassed north to Littweger Höhe, before this Westweg stage changes to the south side of the ridge and with short interruptions consistently runs on comfortable forest roads to Gasthaus Hark. Here, far away from all places and streets, a Black Forest evening can be quietly spent by the fireplace in the good room.
