From the upper town of Meersburg you should rather choose the steep descent through the city, as the road to the ferry port without bike path is. From the ferry port, it goes briskly to Uhldingen, where you always left and passes through the port through the pile dwellings and drives into the forest direction Birnau. In front of the church Birnau, the first ascent is rewarded with a magnificent view over Lake Constance. The church is worth seeing, especially if you can listen to the organ during a church service. Continue under the trunk road into the forest with some climbs and descents to Affenberg Salem. From Affenberg, head towards Killesweiher to Hallendorf, Schiggendorf and Baitenhausen. The ride is very comfortable through the forest and over fields and small quiet streets. Shortly before Baitenhausen, however, begins the steep climb, first on the road, then on the bike path past the church further uphill up to Dittenhausen. Then it goes downhill rapidly to Meersburg, past the winegrower Geiger and the cemetery, then left and you meet near the farm shop again on the main street.
