From the ferry port, the route leads briskly to Uhldingen and passes through the port through the pile dwellings and drives into the forest direction Birnau. In front of the Birnau church is the first ascent, which is rewarded with a magnificent view over Lake Constance. The church is worth seeing, especially if you can listen to the organ during a church service. Continue under the trunk road into the forest with some climbs and descents to Affenberg Salem. For children it is a nice destination. In the monkey tavern there is standard food available. From Affenberg, head towards Killesweiher to Hallendorf, Schiggendorf and Baitenhausen. The ride is very comfortable through the forest and over fields and small quiet streets. Shortly before Baitenhausen, however, the steep climb begins. It begins on the road, then on the bike path past the church further uphill up to Dittenhausen. This part is really hard for smaller children. You have to plan accordingly and leave enough time. Then it goes downhill to Meersburg, past the winegrower Geiger and the cemetery, then left where you meet near the farm shop again on the main street.
