This route is a certified premium hiking trail. It leads through beautiful vineyards and offers great views. The highlight is the castle Staufenberg in the middle of the vineyards. Departure in Durbach from the parking lot at Ferienplatz Almstraße. Cross the Unterweilerstraße and climb the vineyard to the Plauen Trainer Köpfle, protective benches and beautiful views of Strasbourg. Continue to Kapellenruine St. Anton, historic site. Through forests and vineyards, the path leads to the castle Staufenberg with beautiful scenery to the plain. Go to the castle and follow your steps. Continue to the Brandstetter chapel, then to the Hummelswälder Hof for a refreshing stopover. Continue downhill to Durbachtal.
