Hanatekuua Beach is a 7.1 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Hanaiapa, Hiva Oa, French Polynesia that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching.

The hike from Hanaiapa back to Hanatekua takes about four hours. The highest point of the track used is about 195 m. Part of the hike takes place on the east side of Hanaiapa Bay and provides views of this bay and the western tip of the same bay. Then the path often over the cliffs crosses areas where wandering wild goats but owners. The crossing then passes on a long plateau and brings the hiker over the Hanatekua valley. It is little inhabited. During the period from November to March the swell is north and is clearly visible in the photos. It is possible to camp in the Hanatekua Valley. In this valley there is a river. On the other hand, it is advisable to bring water for drinking and anti-nono products on Hanatekua beach.
