This is the first portion of the historic Nietzsche Trail. It begins at Èze-bord-de-Mer train station and leads to Èze-Village. There are magnificent views from the top as well as a gorgeous garden. Please note there is a small entry fee into the garden. Once you are at the top, there are several other trails you can continue on if you want to extend your hike. It gets very hot during the summer, as well as very busy. Parking becomes limited. Bus line #100 connects Nice to Monaco and stops at Èze-bord-de-Mer train station.

Beautiful trail up to the old town in Eze. Bring lots of water. We went up during a very humid and hot time of day. The sun was beating on us and only made it tougher. Would highly recommend. Swam in the Mediterranean afterwards.
