Enjoy impressive views of Mont Blanc and the turquoise water of Lac Blanc. The trail has a steady increase at its start and then climbs steeply near the lake. Climbing up the trail, the views are behind you so enjoy your hike back for some of the most spectacular views in Europe.

Hiked this trail in September 2014 and arrived at a very crowded lake, which I expected because there's also a nice lakeside cafe. The view of the northern mountain ranges is spectacular, especially in the late afternoon when they're sunlit with longer wavelengths.

Hiked to Lac Blanc starting from Argentiere. Only got until a little bit below of Lac des Cheserys. There are sections with snow, specially after Refuge Cheserys. Gaiters and spikes recommended to Cheserys, snowshoes recommended to continue to Lac Blanc. Beautiful trail
