This trail begins along the old Verdon canal system running alongside the Verdon River and leads to the Saint Maxime Chapel. This trail can be turned into a smaller loop or an out and back from the Chapel. Children are not recommended on this journey and dogs are prohibited. Please be sure to bring a flashlight or headlamp as there will be some dark canyons and caves to pass through. There will be certain portions of the journey that could be closed off to protect the bats living in this area.

lots of variety with the view. highlight of stumbling across (almost literally) some goats by the chapel. gorgeous route. recommend getting there early though as on the way back it was fairly busy.

Superb to go, along the gorge, then a passage in an almost mystical forest where the trees are hairy by the foam! The small hook on the crests worth the detour, I met a magnificent raptor taking the ascendants. The return is a little more banal and without really points of view. Impossible to get lost, and at 8am it's just you and nature. Divine !

Hike to the top with incredible views! Pretty easy to access I really recommend!

pretty and enjoyable. nice views and the water at the bottom of the gorge is so tempting to jump in. if I go back I'd make sure I have swim shorts with me..
