A spectacular sight to see: a medieval monastery perched high up in the sky on an island. Due to its extreme popularity, parking for Mont Michel has been moved farther away from the island. You can park at the lot and take a shuttle or a horse-drawn carriage to the island, or alternatively walk across the long footbridge (as noted on route here).

Great place to visit and explore. The narrow streets are wonderful and so are the views of the bay.
