The Ribarrouy Trail is a 3.4 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Retjons, Landes, France that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
A 5.5km walk along the Ribarrouy creek into the forest of Gascony Among maritime pine trees lies this creek running on a sand bed.
The loop starts at a rest area and sinks in a pine forest along a path part of St James way (path of Vézelay). The trail is cut by the A65 motorway, which will have to be crossed twice thanks to two short tunnels. On the way back, the walker meanders along a path overlooking the Ribarrouy creek and might watch a deer drinking from it before reaching the parking lot.
