This loops follows through the heart of the Essonne Valley featuring historic mills including the Tingrain and Châtillon. The hydraulic power was so intense, that there was one mill approximately every 500m. The Essonne Valley has also kept its natural character. Though artificial and developed at the end of the 18th century, the Orville-Dimancheville Marsh is home to the largest reed bed in the department and is protected by a biotope decree.
