One of the many trails located at the Métabief Mont D’Or Ski Resort. In the off season, the resort becomes a hiking paradise. This loop passes by Mont d'Or and near many alpine chalets. The path crosses a remarkably diverse landscape including alpine pairs, forest and ridges. Leave from Les Granges Raguins or La Boissaude above Rochejean and follow the GR 5 towards Mont d'Or peaks. The path goes through an alley of meadows dotted with Gentian and lined with forest. On a clear day, Mont Blanc is easily observable.
