This trail leads up to the plateau of Fort Saint-Antoine where Comté cheese is produced and aged. The cellar can be visited, but a reservation is required and can be made at the Tourist Office in Métabief. Even if you aren't visiting the cellar, there is a lot to enjoy including views of the village of Métabief, the Bief Rouge Valley, and the Alps in the distance.
