The Way of Le Puy is the GR65- In English this trail is called the Way of Saint James, Chemin de Saint Jacques in French, and the Camino Santiago in Spanish. This is one segment of the many pilgrimages eventually leading to Santiago de Compostela. This route begins in the grasslands of the Massif Central, enters the valley of the river Lot, traverses the Tarn and the Adour, continues on to Gascony and eventually to the Basque village of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port before continuing in Spain.
