The starting point is reached via the 'Route de Puze'. There are grand views from the summit area at Rochers de Leschaux, and the Grotte de la Glaciere. However, some sections of the trail are difficult and challenging. In particular, the descent from the summit (Rochers de Leschaux) to Solaison (where all the tourists park) offers difficulties. From Solaison, the trail up to the Grotte de la Glaciere has hazards: deadfall blocks the trail & x-narrow muddy, slippery tracks offering a "shortcut" to the bottom of a deep ravine. The rest of the ascent to the Grotte is steep and challenging, requiring a rope for assistance over a couple of the most difficult sections.

Here's another review: The interface and "workflow" for adding a recording to AllTrails is much more confusing than it should be!

A challenging trail with some spectacular views! If you're staying near Le Petit-Bornand-les-Glières, this is particularly interesting as you will look down on the very spot from which you looked up and thought there would be no way to climb to that summit!
