Note: Due to renovation, the rear riverside part of the trail has been closed to visitors and redirected with signs. Please do not use the rear stairs and boardwalk! The deadline for renovation is 31.10.2020. Oandu plant trail is like a natural botanical garden. It's surprising how many different plants can fit into one kilometer! The trail is wet, muddy and slippery during off season. Trail is indicated with green-white signposts. There are many small information boards in English and Estonian, boardwalk and stairs by the lake, the exhibitions of the Oandu Visitor Centre (inside the centre and premises). Sites: The trail takes you from the grasslands along the riverbank to the meadows, through the shady forest to the backyard of the visitor centre. Trail is interlinked with Oandu heritage trail, which has a barn with exhibition.
