Getting There

This is a circular walk with opportunity to enjoy the attractive countryside in both Worcestershire and Warwickshire. During the walk, you will enjoy a short section of the Millennium Way, the route being clearly marked by the distinctive waymarkers. You will notice that the waymarkers in Worcestershire are green and those in Warwickshire are black, but the logo is the same on both waymarkers. The route has several climbs and descents throughout. You will need to negotiate several gates, kissing gates plus 8 stiles (which are mostly dog friendly). There are a couple of sections of road walking and you will cross a couple of horse paddocks. Allow 2 hours. The Millennium Way is a beautiful 100 mile walk in the heart of England, from Pershore in Worcestershire to Middleton Cheney in Northamptonshire. The route was created by the 41 Club as a community project, with something to offer every walker or rambler across Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. This is one of 44 circular walks, each of which incorporates a section of the Millennium Way and is published in partnership with 41 Club.

The village of New End is located on the A441, about 6 miles south of Redditch in Worcestershire. The walk starts and finishes outside The Nevill Arms in New End. If you are taking refreshments in the pub, then the pub has its own car park, otherwise there is roadside parking available. Approximate post code B96 6NB.

Very pretty countryside when you get off the road section at the beginning and some stunning views. No sign of any mud after a dry few weeks

what a lovely walk and very well written directions. almost no mud when we did it apart from a tiny 10 yard section that was easily traversed. Also picked up some geocaches on the route too. Thanks for taking the time to set this route out

Lovely walk especially once we got on the track and into the fields. Road bit near the beginning bit dull but wasn't for long! Another good walk, thanks x
