Lacock Circular is a 6.5 mile loop trail located near Melksham, Wiltshire, England that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips.
This trail has lovely views and is a beautiful area to explore. Bear in mind there is one stretch, however, which is on a road without any path so be careful of cars. This is dog friendly and they can mainly be off the lead for most of the walk (though at certain times of the year they have sheep and cows grazing so your dog would have to be on a lead then) and the route is easily followed. There's a great village to have a pint after and a visit to the chocolate barn.
Stunning walk through the Wiltshire countryside. The only downside is the last couple of KMs are on a busy country road and the pub wasn’t open in Lacock when I finished!
A bit squishy in places, combines the Lacock loop with a walk to and from Chippenham. Saw Harry Potter's parent's house
so many stiles and grassland and a MASSIVE walk on the open road.. not worth the view imo
You have to walk quite a long distance on a road without any path. Felt abit dangerous at times when cars came screaming round the corner. The rest of the walk is great though. Dog was off the lead for most of the walk and the route is easily followed. Great village to have a pint after and a visit to the chocolate barn
