Muddy and wet, but lovely little walk. Saw some deer and cows but no pigs
Busy but to be expected at the moment! Reasonably well marked , a few pointing in the wrong direction and a few could be a bit more obvious will deffo return in spring for this walk and expand to include some of the others
Perfect walk. Very muddy in places after all the rain so be prepared to slip around a bit! Saw four stag, a couple of deer and wild pigs.
I really enjoyed this walk with its beautiful scenery, historical artefacts and wild animals. Route is easy to follow and well laid out. I really enjoyed the various things to see. It would be suitable for kids. The route was a bit muddy in places but expected for this time of year and on this type of trial. Overall a really nice short walk. Highly recommended.
It was a really lovely walk with lots of wildlife including wild pigs The paths were EXTREMELY muddy
Fabulous place to run, with gorgeous views, animals and places of interest.
Nice easy route, uneven ground for lots of it so feet felt a bit battered at the end
Great running route, well marked out. sign posted for 90% of it, if you have a map then great, I downloaded the route to my garmin fenix watch and it was easy to follw, The wildflife is amazing. Pretty flat route and 90% off road a litte bit bumpy and had a few cows and bulls to deal with but all part of the fun! Some of it is private paths across the knepp estate and if you map in Strava or plan a route in Garmin connect you have to switch to manual mode.
Knepp Estate are undertaking a rewinding project. They have moved away from intensive agricultural production and now allow rare breeds of cattle and pigs to roam the estate. This approach has greatly increased the biodiversity of the land. There are also herds of fallow deer and a ground breaking white stork reintroduction project taking place. The best way to describe this walk is that it is mini version of the New Forest.
