A circular walk from Long Itchington in Warwickshire. The route takes you for a ramble over open fields and then enjoys a lovely extended walk along the side of the Grand Union Canal. The outward leg along the Millennium Way is clearly waymarked with the distinctive black and white circular waymarkers. The walk is relatively flat, with only very gentle gradients. You will need to negotiate several kissing gates, bridges and one stile (which should be suitable for most dogs to pass through). You will cross a paddock that is likely to be holding horses and some of the fields may be holding farm livestock (both sheep and cattle). Allow 3 hours. The Millennium Way is a beautiful 100 mile walk in the heart of England, from Pershore in Worcestershire to Middleton Cheney in Northamptonshire. The route was created by the 41 Club as a community project, with something to offer every walker or rambler across Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. This is one of 44 circular walks, each of which incorporates a section of the Millennium Way and is published in partnership with 41 Club.
