My wife and I enjoyed this walk. It was exactly what we were looking for, a circular walk starting and finishing at the Kingfisher on the Quay, giving us a flavour of Frimley Green, and a nice walk along the Basingstoke Canal. It definitely isn’t a quiet walk in the country, but you can see that on the map. The first half mile is parallel to the dual carriageway. Then you cut across into the village and across the green, before turning down onto the canal. Along the canal we came across the miniature railway centre and canal visitor centre, both of which were very popular with children. We recommend the Kingfisher on the Quay. It is a lovely pub/restaurant with a unique location on the edge of the lake.
