WalkingMuddy

Parking is no longer National Trust and can only pay via RingGo. Lovely, easy walk round the Great Pond. Decided not to do Little Pond as done that before. Would be easy to vary the route. Took 1.5 hours to do just Great Pond.

A lovely wintery walk; lots of deer and beautiful Mandarin Ducks on the pond in the Isabella Plantation.

Great walk. We changed the route after walking around the Little Pond as it was getting uncomfortably busy. Quieter option and about the same distance.

HikingGreat!

Great easy, gentle walk. Not muddy at all. Cafe at the Great Pond has a good selection of food and drink. No mud - easy to do in trainers.

Great under the feet. Nice to take in the woodland and the open ground. Uneasy in parts. Altogether great for all ages.

Good, but you don't see the ponds as much as I expected.

Nice easy walk, plenty of parking, only one steep part which is near the beginning, good views all round and can easily be done in around 2hrs

First to Review

Once you get past the masses who use the main pond like a beach, it’s a great hike and we loved the smaller of the ponds. Lots of nice areas to stop off and relax at
