Brilliant. Highly recommend. Steep and exciting in places. Lovely wood trails and nice views in places
Easy, not too muddy, considering the season, beatific forest and very nice church on the way.
Really enjoyed this walk. We did it the opposite way round which I’m glad we did. There’s a steep bit that was much easier to start with going up than it would’ve been coming down on a wet and muddy day. Stopped for a picnic half way in the churchyard
nice trail. has a few steep climbs in places. mainly wooded but with some good views.
Quite steep in places. Wear good shoes, particularly in Autumn when there are a many leaves about. Great walk.
A beautiful short stroll, with a couple of hills to get the heart pumping. Best undertaken on a dry day!
Amazing forest walk in Boxhill. We did it with a 4 and a 9 years old in rainy weather, still managable and comfortable. We loved it!
Fantastic walk with some cracking woodland trails. A few steep bits but nothing too arduous, definitely recommend!
Very hilly but great trails— a little busy not still manageable. Great little playground in the town for the kids.
Interesting little hike. I walked it anti-clockwise and there were a few steep inclines which were a nice challenge. A fair few people on a couple of sections but considerably quieter than other walks near by and it was a Saturday. Not too muddy even after heavy rain. Good fun.
This was a good walk with a couple of steps bits, notably at the beginning. A rope swing in the first 1/2 mile and a children’s play area in the village. Very quiet, only saw a couple of other people apart from in the village. Unfortunately the is 1 point where someone has blocked access to the public footpath by putting up a fence forcing you to use the recreation field on the other side of a fence
Lovely area walking through Cockshott Woods, though it was lacking in variety. There is a steep inclines for 10 minutes at the start and near the end.
A good loop with a couple of moderate climbs and descents, surprisingly not as muddy as we had expected it to be. We walked the route anti clockwise. Our dog could be off lead most of the time - the only time he went on lead was through Mickleham but that was only for 5 mins.
This is a great circular walk, which we walked in an an anti clockwise direction. Strangely we could not access direction notes or waypoints on the app so had to follow purely by the map and GPS. However! It made the best of a bright December day, The Gallops were a lovely wide open space to compliment the more prevalent wooded walk. Lots of coppiced woodland, a couple of steep climbs, beautiful church and cemetery and at the end of anti-clockwise route a lovely narrow path through woods with beautiful views. Milo the Spaniel had a very happy tail all the way, very little lead time and plenty of sticks!
