An easy flat circular walk from the Suffolk coastal town of Aldeburgh along a disused railway line to Thorpeness, returning back to Aldeburgh along the beach. There are no stiles or gates along the route and no livestock. It's mandatory to keep dogs on a lead on the outward stretch along the disused rail line, no bad thing as there are several muddy streams running alongside, they will however be rewarded on the return journey with off-lead fun and ample opportunities to swim in the sea. Caution will be needed when walking alongside the Thorpeness golf course.
