From Kings Tree via Bull Clough to the tops, then a scenic route to eventually join the path to Swains Head. Return by the banks of the Derwent, with a detour to the higher levels near Hoar Clough where it tends to get wet. The final section is on the high-level track back down to Slippery Stones. You may spot hares, an owl, meadow pipit, or golden plover.
