Nice trail to begin with but very very muddy on the return leg if you're going clockwise.

This is my home turf so know the area well. Beautiful route with lovely views; can see well Breiddens and Clee Hills as well as The Wrekin, part of the route follows the Telford T50 Trail between end of Buidlwas Lane and Coalbrokdale Museum. For walkers if you keep to this trail it would give you a better line and more interesting descent into Ironbridge (magenta waymarks) but if so there are the steep 173 Rotunda steps so best anti clockwise. NB Buidwas Lane can get muddy and churned by 4x4 vehicles in winter.
