A circular walk from the Oxfordshire village of Tackley. The walk follows footpaths and bridleways. There are some fine views along the way and the return route crosses the picturesque Pigeon Lock. The walk is relatively flat though there are a few gentle inclines. You will need to negotiate several gates, some steps plus one stile. The route crosses the railway at an official but unsignalled crossing so take care to look and listen for trains at this point. A few of the pastures may be holding cattle so take particular care with dogs.

A lovely walk, with good views in places. We did it on a cold day and it was quite exposed and windy in places but worth it.
