This is a circular walk from Idbury in the Cotswolds. The walk is varied in character with both wooded sections, including Foxholes Nature Reserve, and open fields which afford fine views along the way. The final section is along a quiet country lane. The route passes through the charming village of Bledington, where refreshments can be obtained at the village pub. Although relatively flat for the most part, there is a fairly steep ascent in the final wooded section. There are numerous stiles and kissing gates to negotiate, and fields with cattle. There is one section of road walking so take particular care with children and dogs. Allow 4 hours for the walk.
