A circular walk from Reeth to Arkengarthdale.
Parked on Reeth and followed the route as shown. Steep climb initially but once at the top, had fantastic views down the valley. The majority of the route is well way marked, definitely NOT 12.1 miles, just over 8 and a half. which was great for a nice coffee and cake at the cycling centre in Reeth.
Parked in Reeth then headed down the hill as if you are leaving Reeth crossing over the bridge to start the walk will, little annoying the app decided to stop so that part wasn’t recorded as you can see!! But lucky I had two other apps tracking my route you can always follows Bills recorded route then pickup mine walking time was about 4hrs 45 Mins but over all with stoping for a cuppa and food taking in views etc which are amazing with the snow was about 5hrs 20mins (16.36km) was very slippery in places with the snow and mud and very wet ground some areas you had to cross small streams which had swollen with the extra water so just be careful waterproof boots need and gaiters.
