Start the hike in Ravenscar at the Raven Hall Hotel Parking Lot. Walk south to the intersection of Station Rd and then turn right where a sign directs visitors towards Peak Fault. The path initially leads towards the golf course, where it then turns left. The route follows the scenic coastline for a while before reaching Boggle Hole, an area known for its geology and fossil collecting. Stay along the coast until you reach the town of Robin Hood's Bay, where you will turn left and catch the trail again along Thorpe Lane. Continue along the route until you arrive at Raven Hall Road again.

Nice easy circular although the return along the cinder track becomes a little dull. If we were to do the walk again we would probably do it in reverse.
