Circular walk along both sides of the Ouse, crossing Fulford Ings, heading under the A64, walking past the Designer Outlet and the Sewage Works before heading over Fisherman's Bridge. Back along the other side of the Ouse up to Bishopthorpe, past the Palace and finishing back at the Millenium Bridge.

Nice flat walk along the Ouse banks with views of Bishopthorpe Palace. Wouldn’t recommend after heavy rainfall. Unfortunately a long stretch walking alongside a sewage plant is pretty stinky! Nice But First Coffee shop in Bishopthorpe (closed on Sundays). Better walks of similar length in the area - would recommend York to Acaster Malbis keeping West of the Ouse and back through Bishopthorpe, for example.
