Description
Waypoints (8)

The circular route is one of the most popular walks in the Dales. Once you leave the carpark, the walk takes you through beautiful woodland before climbing through the collection of waterfalls. There is a well defined footpath which runs close to the edge of the two rivers and steps to climb. Dogs must be kept on a lead in certain areas, especially when crossing farmland. This walk features beautiful nature and geological features, such as Thornton Force. This area has been designed as a Site of Special Scientific Interest by Natural England. Entrance Fee: £7 - Adults £3 - Under 16

Nice walk with the kids and dog, fair few steps up and down but easy enough. Gets busy and a charge to enter.... but apart from that all good. Will do this again.

Absolute beauty of a walk with the family. Kids 5. & 8 loved it too. Very easy walk with plenty of waterfalls and forestry to walk through. Good parking at the start of the walk. Pay to go in and park and the walk starts the minute you get out of the car. Easy to follow and it’s more of a stroll than a hike

I wouldn't say that this is an easy walk.....more moderate. Some beautiful scenery but PLENTY of steps to keep the heart rate in check.....

Easy hike, perfect for families. Waterfalls are beautiful but too much litter. Pick up after yourselves if you go. Toilets clean with warm water. Cafe was closed (jan) but went to Goats Gap cafe on way home, which was lovely.

My son (8) and I loved this walk despite the torrential rain! Plenty of places to stop and watch the falls which were particularly impressive following all that rain, especially where there are some bridges that go over the water.

A lovely day out with the family. We often go out walking with our 5 & 7 year old which are used to hikes. Some very uneven terrain to make sure you have sensible footwear on. We visited after a heavy rain spell and the waterfalls were amazing!

Lovely walk overlooking waterfalls, but to enter is £7 adults and £3 for under 16s but free parking. ( Park your car then enter though the turnstiles. So me and the Mrs plus 2 kids £20. Was it worth £20 ?? Well i like it and I am glad I have done it. Would of give it 5 stars but for the charge! Which I personally thing is expensive and disgraceful. Just another money making scam.
