we went last summer, the waterfall is lovely, it’s a good walk with some rocky steps. the hut halfway along sells homemade lemon cordial, which was delicious , as well as ice cream. it’s a very popular walk and the only disappointment for me was you couldn’t really pause along the route (apart from at the ice cream hut and water fall) due to being led/pushed along by the amount of people wanting to get past

loved our walk today. Our 9, 6 and 3 year old absolutely loved it. Nice stop off at the hut for some ice cream

Dog friendly, non exhaustive walk. Full circle of waterfalls, one which is perfect for getting in when the weather is nice. Pricey entrance if multiple people. Has a refreshment van half way round.

I did enjoy the walk very nice waterfalls how ever I thought it was a rip off for parking there was 2 adults and 1 child and they charged £15 for parking much better walks about for a lot less parking fees I won’t be returning due to this.

Fantastic scenic walk not ideal for very young children or people with prams as a bit of climbing. The waterfalls are fantastic and I have been 6 times and it’s one of my favourite places. It’s quite expensive just for a walk cost 12 pound for 2 adults but I do love it

Too many people to go at your own pace (fast or slow). Lots of litter. Waterfalls very pretty. Sort of resent paying £6 a head to look at somewhere in my back garden.

Love this walk, have done it numerous times in Autumn/Winter and mainly in the rain. Can be slippy and there are a few muddy areas at the start. Spectacular views. Ice cream van part the way round sells hot/cold drinks.

Beautiful walk, great for kids but children under 3 may struggle as you won't be able to take a pram through the trail and it's a long walk.

Beautiful trail full of water wonders, woodland and a fantastic ice cream van at the peak. A lovely little trail every time

A beautiful place to explore, numerous waterfalls, big and small. Access to the river at several points so kids and dogs can have a paddle. There is a kiosk near the main waterfall, Thornton Force, and the area gets extremely busy on hot sunny days. very popular walk, highly recommended. Look out for the money trees!

A lovely walk with some slopes and steps, but all lovely scenery. You have to pay to walk it as it's private property (£15 for a family ticket), but parking is included.
