A great walk this with nice opportunities to stop and have lunch. Easy to navigate but there are some Hill climbs, especially from Settle. A really good walk though.
Really enjoyable walk. Not too tricky to navigate in combination with the app. Got a bit muddy along the river section (not so much deep mud, more the slippy kind, but it was easily manageable in walking boots). Even though it was foggy today there were still some great views. I went clockwise and I think that worked out for the best. Some of the descents anticlockwise would have been tricky for me (I'm not a confident walker). I loved the variation on this walk and will definitely do it again.
Good strong walk across varied terrain, poles would be useful. Got the directions wrong a few times but managed to get back on track. Lovely scenery and fine for dogs.
Excellent circular route. We were staying in Settle so started from there and went clockwise, so we had the steep climb at the start. Great views of the valley and across to Pen y gent. Great cafe at Feizor - best egg custard I’ve ever had! Nice walk back over the top to the river at Giggleswick the. A pleasant walk along the river to Settle. Some of the styles/stonewall ladders may be tricky for less mobile people but otherwise an easy walk.
Varied route with lots to see! Riverside, waterfall meadows and village. It's not too challenging. Dog on lead half of route due to livestock, but plenty of off lead time too.
