Start and end at Mossy Well Wetherspoons in Muswell Hill (at large roundabout). Lovely route, few hills, quiet through queens woods, all off road bar the little bit connecting queens woods to ally pally . Loads of alternative routes can be taken on the sections through Highgate woods, Queens woods & Alexander Palace to shorten or lengthen the circular if required.
Way too busy, majority of the route is walking on normal footpaths with London traffic passing you by. The parks are very nice, but overcrowded with hundreds breaking social distancing / lockdown laws and using playgrounds etc.
you can cycle up the platforms. mou tain bike friendly around the top of high gate hill before the pub. gate into finsbury Park is closed, go round to main entrance.
Parkland walk to Ally Pally and then part of the New River walk back
