The walk starts from Harby CofE Primary School, located on School Lane in Harby village close to the War Memorial. Walk towards the village Garage and then turn right onto Langar Lane. When you reach the bridge over Grantham Canal continue for a short distance and then turn right into the driveway heading for The Faith Mission. After a short distance you will see the obvious access onto the canal tow path; turn left and head along the tow path towards Dove Cottage Tea Rooms. Upon arrival exit the tow path and turn right onto Canal Lane, crossing Stathern Bridge in the process. Follow Canal Lane until the junction with Stathern Lane. Cross over the latter and take the footpath signposted 'Hose - 2 miles'. Ignore an obvious path crossroads until you reach a second, similar junction. Here turn right along Green Lane heading back towards Harby village. At the junction with Stathern Lane cross over and head up Greggs Lane. At the top turn left and then when reaching Dickmans Lane turn right. You are now heading towards the church, St Mary the Virgin, but before the entrance you reach Burden Lane. Turn left onto Burden Lane and then at the junction turn right back onto School Lane where you'll soon arrive back at the Primary School.
